Edward graduated with an MA, BA (Hons) in Law from Cambridge University and qualified as a UK lawyer with intellectual property specialists in London.
He then joined the Swire Group in Hong Kong, where he enjoyed a successful career with Cathay Pacific Airways.
On returning to the UK, he ran his own businesses in London and the Far East, before moving to the US to work in the investment management industry. During this time, he qualified as a New York Stock Exchange broker, working for a San Francisco capital management company focused on investment in Asia.
After five years in the US, he returned to the UK, where he played a central role in the opening of London Docklands Heliport, one of only two commercial heliports in London.
He then spent several years as Director, Marine & Aviation for a financial advisory firm in Mayfair, London, where he focused on marine and aviation asset finance for high and ultra high net worth clients.
He brings a strong depth of experience and understanding of the industry to the partnership, combined with a global network of contacts.
Edward is a member of the Law Society, MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) and the Institute of Directors.

From an early career in the London shipping market and the Merchant Navy, Ray moved into the finance world specialising in leasing and asset finance.
Now with over 30 years’ experience in these markets, Ray has held senior management positions in both private and large corporate finance companies and from 1996 to 2004 owned and operated his own successful finance brokerage which he sold to a large UK finance institution.
In addition to his key involvement with MAF, Ray currently holds directorships in a specialist healthcare financial company and a business sales consultancy.
His widespread financial contacts and experience gained through raising high value finance and operating at Board level with many of the leading finance institutions make him a key asset within the MAF organisation.
Ray is a member of the Institute of Directors and a Freeman of the City of London.

John graduated with an MA, BA (Hons) from Keble College, Oxford.
He spent most of his long and distinguished career with the Swire Group and Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong with senior appointments in Japan, South East Asia, Europe and Hong Kong, where he was a main board director of Cathay Pacific Airways. He was also involved with the development of Chep Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong.
On retiring from the Swire Group, John became CEO of DanAir and was then appointed as CEO of Cunard.
He has lived in the south of France for the past 10 years, speaks fluent French and brings an exceptional depth of expertise as well as a daily presence in one of the most productive areas of activity for the partnership.
John is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a member of the RAC (Royal Automobile Club).
